By default, as a rookie cop, you’ll get to drive a squad car around the city of Averno inThe Precinct. However, there are more vehicles in the city than just those authorized by the Averno City Police Department. With the Commandeer perk, you can drive just about anything with wheels in the city.
However, there are some vehicles more rare than the rest. These are hidden throughout the streets and alleys, making them harder to find than those parked on the street. We’ll help you locate each of them so you may drive around Averno City quickly and in style.
You’llneed the Commandeer skillto drive vehicles other than the squad cars.
Where To Find The Patriot
The Patriot is likely tobe the first of the rare carsyou find, as it’s close to the precinct. Headsouth to Portalo Hill, then turn left to the parking lot. The car can be foundunder sheets of metal in a shed-like structureattached to the brownstone.
Where To Find Midnight Inferno
To find this vehicle, make your way to thesubway station over by Slipwater Yard, south of Smugglers' Cove. You’ll find this carstashed away in an alley, near a timed trial flare.Hop the fenceto find the car buried behind boxes and metal.
Where To Find FrostFire
Next, set out tofind FrostFire in the Romana South districtof Averno. In the same shed-shaped covering, you’ll find thewhite and red striped vehicle. Hop in and give it a spin, just don’t forget your partner.
Where To Find The Fugitive
Following the previous car,head to Richbury South. In the center of the buildings, next to a dumpster, you can drive away in the cartucked under the metal awning. It’s avibrant red color, so you can’t miss it!
Where To Find Emerald Strike
After that, make your way toSouth Shore on the western side, just south of Springwood. The green vehicle can be found at thefar end of the docks, by the water. Just be careful not to sink the car!
Where To Find Cobalt Stallion
This car is easy to miss, as it’stucked away in the Shermer Court district. Head down Electric Avenue andmake a left towards WestviewBay. Go behind the salvage shop to find the car hidden under an awning.
Where To Find Extra Woodie
TheExtra Woodie is hidden by Carver Port, but not in the main area. Headwest of Warhurstto the docks, then take thepath down to the water. You can find the car here, under a ramshackle awning.
Where To Find Red 77
Headnorth to the Dutch Exchange, then gowest from the Ocean Stripto the corner of the map. You’ll find thisred and white carat the veryend of Electric Avenue.
Where To Find Gran Detroit Turbo
Down by the wateris a hidden vehicle, tucked behind the decorated stores.Make your way to Little Italy, then follow the slope down to the water. Under a metal awning,behind brick pillars, is the green Gran Detroit Turbo.
Where To Find Stampede
Finally,past the Bayside Strip and The Colosseum, you’ll pick up the Stampede. When yousee the subway station,take the alley north into thecenter of the Sunnyside district.
Once you’vedriven all ten vehicles, you’ll unlock theHidden in the Hoodachievement. While youcan’t keep the vehiclesat the precinct, you candrive them any time you like during your shifts.
Don’t worry if the car gets wrecked or lost! It will be back in pristine condition during your next shift.
These carstend to be faster and more adeptat handling street challenges. Try them out tosee which is your favorite, then mark it on your map to find during your shifts so you may drive around in style.
Additionally, while not marked as a rare car, you can alsotake the police chief’s vehiclefor a ride. Simply exit the back door of the precinct, thentake the shiny orange carfrom the chief’s parking spot.
Thepolice chief won’t make any commentseven if you total his car.
