Once you complete the Stargazing quest inHello Kitty Island Adventureand unlock Cloud Island, your world will become a bit bigger. Here, you’ll have new areas to explore and a few new materials to obtain, including the spherical Moon Cheese, which is used in a lot of cooking recipes.
In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to obtain Moon Cheese, which can only be found on Cloud Island. This will cover the specific areas that you’ll need to visit in order to get Moon Cheese, as well as the best ways to farm for Moon Cheese each day.

If you want to make a recipe that uses Moon Cheese, you’ll need to complete Stargazing first, which also unlocksKikiandLala. Prior to this, you won’t be able to make every recipe.
Where To Find Moon Cheese
Moon Cheese isfound within Cloud Island, shown on the map above, as well as in the table below. We’ve split Cloud Island into three sections so it’s a bit easier to see the Moon Cheese locations.
Rather than one Moon Cheese found at each location, you may find several! This is thanks to an update from April 2025, which makesmissed items stack. For example, each day you’re able to find 11 Moon Cheeses, butif you miss a day, then you’ll find 22 Moon Cheeses.
This willaccumulate for three days, which means that if you haven’t found the item for a while, you can get up to 33 at a time.

Using A Collector Nul To Gather Moon Cheese
Don’t feel like getting the Moon Cheese yourself? You can send out a Collector Nul to gather some for you! This Nul also gathers any excess cheese, so if you’ve gone a few days without collecting any, they can retrieve up to 33.
This is a great way to get all the Moon Cheese if you don’t have access to all the islands yet. Rather than waiting to unlock them, just use a Collector Nul to grab every single one.
If you aren’t sure what a Collector Nul is, don’t worry. This is a type of Nul that you may unlock after completing Meet the Island Beings and Terra Nul (both parts). During Terra Nul, you’ll get to put a Collector hat on a Nul, which then lets you task them with gathering one item per day.
The following day, the requested item (in our case, Moon Cheese) will appear in the nearby chest. If you choose to gather Moon Cheese this way, you won’t be able to find it yourself.
