As you build a new life for yourself inTainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, you’ll encounter hundreds of Wyrd creatures, bandits, and other nasty things that will stand in your path. As Kamelot lays on the brink of ruin, it’s anything but smooth sailing. The initial stats you start with will help you get a leg up in the world, but what if you’re not happy with those initial skills?
Never fear! There’s a way to remake your character without having to start all over and sacrifice all those dedicated ours to Avalon. We’ll show you how to reset your skills and attributes.
Where To Get An Origin Potion
The item you’ll need toreset your skills and attributesis an Origin Potion. This is arare item scattered throughout the worldin various chests and locations. The first one you can find, however, is in the tutorial prologue.
After you escape your cell, you canfind an Origin Potion in Brother Cassian’s cell. Make sure to pick it up on your way out. Otherwise, you’ll have to wait a while to find your next one, as the locations are few and far between.
Some vendors will sell you an Origin Potion, but stock is limited.
Below are a few other locations where you’re able to find an Origin Potion early on:
Be sure tocheck high-level chests and tough monstersfor loot! There’s a small chance you’ll be rewarded with an Origin Potion.
How To Reset Your Skills And Attributes
Once you have the potion in your inventory, you canuse it at any time. Doing so willreset your attribute points and skills, refunding the points to you. You can then freely distribute them as you’d like.
Save before doing this, just in case you change your mind!
You’ll need toset up a campfireto level up again, but once you do, you canchoose your new skills and attributes. It’s the perfect way toredesign your character’s approach to combatwithout having to start over–and you canfine-tune your specsto ensure you’re well suited for any encounter.
Thefirst hours you spend in Avalon are all about survival, so it’s best if you hold off on resetting your character until you have a feel for how you’ll be playing. Then you’re able to best distribute your points fora more specialized characterto carry you through.
