Where To Find The Scarlet Amber Shard
The Scarlet Amber Shard isfound in abundance in the Scarlet Forest. You can find multipleAmber Deposits in Areas 2, 12, and 13 of the Scarlet Forest.
If you’re having trouble looking for it, you can also open the map andmark these red icons with a tiny question markon them as a way point, and your Seikret will lead you to them automatically.
When you approach an Amber Deposit, you’ll immediately be able to spot it because of the scoutflies and the resource’s unique amber-colored appearance.Amber Deposits refresh after 15 minutes, so you can continue to farm this item repeatedly without any fear of it ever running out.
There’s also the Eternal Scarlet Amber Shard, but you’re able to only gather this specific version of the item when the Colossal Amber Emergence event is ongoing in the Scarlet Forest. The Eternal Scarlet Amber Shard is also used for trading with locals but is worth more than regular Scarlet Amber Shards.

Scarlet Amber Shard isprimarily used to trade with the locals of the Forbidden Island. These locals are the ones that you’ve befriended during the story.
