Summary

As vast and varied as the characters are inStar Wars, you’ll often find they adhere at least in part to certain archetypes. That’s just how storytelling goes. Even when it comes to the most complex offerings in the series, like the intricate cast ofAndor, you’ll find there’s still a bit of that conformity.

One particularly popular set of archetypes is the zodiac, with virtually every character imaginable fitting into one of the 12 signs, especially if you squint a little. But what about you? What does your zodiac sign say about which Andor character you’d most identify with?

Attributes

Roguish, Adaptive, Leading

The Aries sign tends to be associated with those who sport abit of a roguish streak. But they also often balance that with some perhaps unexpected leadership capabilities. Few Andor characters embody this like its titular figure, Cassian Andor, whose lot in life seems to be ‘wrong place, wrong time.’

While much of his misfortune is absolutely not his fault, he’s still known to go looking for trouble. But when pushed, he adapts to survive, and finds himself more and more comfortable with leadership along the way. He even uses his own past experience as a scared newbie to be a better leader, helping him connect with those working with him.

Dependable, Creative, Emotionally Strong

Those born under the Taurus sign are said to hold dependable and creative qualities, making them some of the most valuable friends you could possibly have. Given how both Bix Caleen and the adorable droid B2EMO have proven they can be counted on, the choice of their sign is easy.

Bix has her own ambitions, but is still always willing to help out her friends in a bind, even if it might take some convincing. She’s also as sly as they come, effortlessly keeping secrets as needed. Meanwhile, B2EMO wants nothing more than to be helpful and happy with his family, and will always follow orders to that end.

Multifaceted, Kind, Versatile

The complex Gemini sign usually finds itself attributed to individuals with complicated lives. Despite their versatility and their kind nature (even if the kindness is sometimes on the inside), they may find themselves pulled between two worlds, much like the conflicted Rebel agent Vel Sartha.

Vel is introduced as a hardened Rebel fighter, but you later find out she has roots in high society. She regularly finds herself torn between her two lives, committed to the cause but uncertain if she’s willing to go as far as her lover, Cinta.

Protective, Nurturing, Teaching

If you need a protector, you want someone under the Cancer sign. Cancers areseen as teachers and nurturers, ensuring their charges are cared for while also passing on their knowledge for the sake of the future. Maarva Andor is exactly this from the start of the series.

Not only did she adopt and serve as the guardian for Cassian, she made sure he had the tools and skills he needed for survival growing up. Maarva’s iconic hologram speech at her funeral also lets her extend her protective nature to all of Ferrix, urging them to fight the Empire for their own sakes.

Dramatic, Confident, Bold

The normally energetic Leo sign doesn’t always manifest as a particularly ‘extra’ individual. Sometimes, that dramatic flair is more in the person’s confidence and effortless vibes. This is a great descriptor for Brasso, who’sthe kind of friend you want to havein an emergency.

Brasso shows his true colors from his first appearance, quickly and smoothly covering for Cassian when it’s clear his friend is in a bad way. But whether he’s feigning betrayal to save another friend from suspicion or sneakily sabotaging an Imperial shuttle, Brasso won’t think twice about going above and beyond for those he cares about.

Practical, Tactical, Loyal

The practicality of the Virgo sign can’t be understated. The Zodiac shows this type as someone who won’t stick their neck out without cause. But if they find a good reason, they’re one of the best kinds of allies to have. Just look at Kino Loy. In the Narkina 5 prison, Kino wanted to just keep his head down and do his time.

But when Cassian helped him realize that they were never getting out of there, he stepped up, using his influence as a floor manager to rally the inmates and break out. Even if he couldn’t escape himself due to his tragic inability to swim, he knew he was doing the right thing for his fellow downtrodden.

Diplomatic, Cordial, Level-Headed

As someone who excels at diplomacy and mediation, the Libra sign as described is easily the most well-suited of the Zodiac when it comes to politics. An ability to effortlessly mingle with a crowd doesn’t hurt either, asthe standout Senator Mon Mothmaknows full well.

The Rebel Alliance wouldn’t be anywhere near as organized or even effective without Mon’s influence and aid. While still part of the Imperial Senate, she uses her position for the good of the people and adds her resources to the Rebel efforts, all while maintaining a smile for the wolves in sheep’s clothing she must regularly engage with.

Driven, Clever, Passionate

If you don’t give up easily, you might find yourself identifying with the Scorpio sign. Scorpio is most often associated with plenty of passion and drive with a stubbornness not exactly willing to accept no for an answer.

On two sides, you have Luthen Rael and Dedra Meero. While Luthen lets nothing get in his way in his efforts to further the Rebellion’s goals (including people’s lives), Dedra refuses to let go of her leads for the good of the Empire, even when her own superiors order her to stop.

Funny, Trustworthy, Outgoing

There’s a loyalty that comes with being associated with Sagittarius, and it’s almost as pronounced as the comedic streak. This sign has an extroverted streak and is willing to back up friends, though there will probably besome snark along the way.

K-2SO has come a long way since his original purpose as an Imperial security droid. He’s a valuable asset to the Rebels, especially Cassian, and isn’t afraid to voice his concern in the most hilariously dry way possible. But he’ll be there when it counts.

Ambitious, Focused, Detail-Oriented

Ambition is the name of the game when it comes to Capricorn. There’s an almost single-minded focus to those seen as this sign, possibly even to a fault. Just look at everyone’s favorite cereal-loving fascism nerd, Syril Karn. When he has a goal, nothing else matters, for better or much, much worse.

Syril’s focus on catching Cassian costs him his job and his home, and yet even after getting back on his feet (which he quickly does, ambitious as he is), he refuses to let it go. He also takes his job, any job, arguably way too seriously, from personalizing his work uniform to getting oddly enthusiastic about the Bureau of Standards checking fuel purity.
