When you and your friends first start playingRepo, you’ll all begin with average stats and skills. you may jump, lift small items, and sprint away from monsters for a short time. But as you progress through the game, your 100 health and 50 stamina will only get so far.
Soon you’ll realize you need to upgrade, but which ones should you start with first? What’s nice about Repo, is there is no upgrade tree to follow, and just about any upgrade is available in the Service Shop if you have the cash for it. Below are our suggestions for which upgrades you should get first, as well as a description for each upgrade.

These are just our suggestions. The upgrades you decide to go with first will ultimately depend a lot on your own play style. They may also differ if you’re playing with friends or solo.
$2K - $5K
Increases maximum stamina by 10.
Running away and hiding from monsters is youronly defense against many of the monsters in Repo, and if you can run for longer without running out of stamina, the best chance you have of escaping whatever dangers you come across.
As such, thefirst upgrade we recommend unlocking is the Stamina Upgrade. It’s also the cheapest of all the upgrades, so you may easily stack them early in the game.

As you begin moving past the early levels, theprices of the upgrades will start increasing.
$4K - $6K
Increases maximum health by 20.
In just about any game, having extra healthcan mean the difference between success and defeat. Of course, in Repo, that also largely depends on which monster is attacking you, as some do more damage than others.
Still, it can’t hurt to have a little bit of extra health in the bank when your life is on the line.

Just keep in mind, though, that while having extra health is great,it could also mean buying more Health Packsin the Service Shop to keep you at full health.
$5K - $8K
Increases your sprint speed.
Once you’ve increased your max stamina using the Stamina Upgrades, the next upgradeyou should start looking at is the Sprint Speed Upgrade.
Just like the box says, this will increase your sprint speed so that when you have to run away from a monster, you caneasily outrun and lose them and avoid any damage.

Increases your strength to lift heavier items.
Once you’ve leveled up your stamina and health, it’s time to go to the gym! Once you feel ready, go ahead andgrab a Strength Upgrade or two.
This upgrade will allow you topick up and carry larger and heavier itemswithout risk of damaging them as much. Also, you won’t have to constantly ask your teammates for help in carrying something big.

This will also mean you’ll be able topick up and throw larger monsters, which could help yourself or your teammates get away.
All Other Upgrades
While the remaining upgrades aremore helpful for later gameplay, they’re still important to look into and save up your money for.
Range Upgrade
This increases your pickup range, allowing you topick something up from farther away from you.
Tumble Launch Upgrade
$4K - $5K
When you press jump while rolling, that’s a tumble launch. This upgradeincreases the distance of your launch.
Extra Jump Upgrade
$10K - $12K
This upgrade gives you an extra jump, which allows you tojump across gaps or reach higher shelves.
Map Player Count Upgrade
$9K - $11K
If you play solo, this upgrade is useless. However, this is an excellent upgrade to get with a group, especially in the later levels where the maps are huge. The first upgrade shows you how many teammates are alive, andthe second upgrade shows you the location of each teammate, even if they’ve been killed.
